This is another common concern for new class participants. The honest answer is this: no one is looking at you because every one is either concentrating so much on what they are doing or spending the class worrying about the same thing.
I understand your fear completely, I feel the same as the instructor standing at the front of the class, every one sees & knows when I go wrong (because even instructors get it wrong).
Here's a few things to reassure you:
- Groove-it Fit is in a darkened room so no on can really see if you go wrong
- In Groove-it Fit you can march it out anytime, just do the arms or the legs in the routines instead of sychronising both.
- In yoga & pilates I give 2 - 3 variations of all exercises so you can start from a very basic level.
- Finally, there is no 'keeping up' in my class because I don't run bootcamps or fear based classes. I provide a safe space in classes for participants to explore their own level of fitness & provide lots of options to grow to new levels when the time is right.

As to being criticised or judged, this is something that I will not allow to take place in my classes. I'm extremely lucky to have the most welcoming, kindest & loveliest class participants who welcome new participants with open arms & warm conversation. It is a wonderful community to be a part of!

There is no guarantee that this will be any different to your past experiences but I have set up classes in a way that makes it easier to stay committed & consistent.
Firstly, the classes are set up as a membership which helps you to stay consistent know that you've paid for classes to attend.
Secondly, this is very different to a gym membership that you may have had before. You are not tied into any contract & can cancel your membership at anytime. Even on the Victory (Unlimited) membership I closely monitor class attendance everyone is guaranteed to get a place at class, unlike busy gyms where it may be difficult to book classes.
Thirdly, You have an instructor & small community of other class participants who are invested in you & your wellness journey. I like to think we provide a more personal touch to your wellness journey which makes it easier to attend every week, & hopefully look forward to attending too!
There is a misconception that you need to be flexible to to attend a Yoga class. This is not true, in fact the opposite is true. If you're not flexible then Yoga is exactly what you need!
Tight muscles, tension & lack of flexibility in the body lead to injury, postural problems, joint inflammation, mobility issues & a host of other physical ailments.
You will be surprised at how quickly you will see the differences in your body after just one yoga class.
In Yoga we do not focus on touching your toes or tying ourselves in knots but finding space & room in the body to move more freely & relax the muscles.
